My website http://www.v-echtscheiding.be has been submitted about 2 years ago all three search engines at the same time. At that time, my site had about 5 pages or something. In the meantime, it has over 40 pages, which are all about the same topic (divorce), and are all indexed by Google. Both Live! and Yahoo have less to much less pages indexed (Live! only 8). This is very much visible in my stats, of the 1692 visitors last month, 1.326 came from google, 4 from MSN, 3 from Altavista (didn't know that one was still actively used!), 3 from Live!, and 2 from Yahoo. What is creating this big difference here? I would like to rank higher on Live!/MSN Search too, since the website is local to Belgium (it deals with divorcelaws etcetera), and in Belgium, MSN search is quite well used. Thanks in advance! Yahoo and especially MSN Live Search mostly base their ranking algorythm |
