It is unfair that these sites can rank top ten so easy whilst I use
thematic relavant content to build my site.

Why does google not filter such obvious bold long standing
violations?

its top ten for "learn Russian"
phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=79453758 -
108k

Its top ten for "learn German"

phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=117725301 -
71k

etc "learn French" etc...all very competive keywords. But the site
has nothing to do with language learning, its just a doorway redirect
to apple ipods. ?

If you find a bad Google search, tell Google, then it may get fixed.
If they 'do nothing' it may be that no-one has reported it, or it may be
that it will get actioned at next algorithm tweak.

Most spam gets hit by software, rarely by manual intervention. Else Google
would go bust!

Others reported them, I image it takes time for google to
investigate. What puzzles me is why would a company do this when
they know they will get caught?
