Cross linkage

My background lies mainly in Unix, Perl and such. My father and I used
to own a local ISP in the mid 90's and sold the remainign shares we
held about 4-5 years ago. I have lifetime access, free colo, and other
services available to me. I all the current memebers of the board
running the business and I highly doubt they would block any IP's - and
especially not a broad range. If you traceroute the address where does
it seem to stall. Everythign on the page is loaded locally, so it's not
waiting on any external links.. not really sure - though wish I could
help. Especially since it is dealing with MY site

I have similar problem for my site of high end leathergoods & per
Stacey suggestion am trying to obtain complementary links.

Fred talks about Internal Links versis Backlinks. Are they really
"just as good"?

What is the best way to determine PR of a site.
