Yep thats what this post was about

thanks for bringing it back on topic
It was already on topic. You asked what people thought about it, and
basically if you are keeping link juice from flowing you are wanting that
page to be more relevant and higher quality. You were given 3 opinions, 2
are the same as Bill agreed with me. The troll almost gave the same thing as
stating if the links need to be no followed then you shouldn't put them
there as I feel like I said that if you do that you are telling Google that
the rest of your pages are crap. I will soon laugh when they devise the new
algo for that and it will be easy as everyone gave Google the pages right in
their hand.

I also said you can have a good navigation to cover the internal juice flow.
I also gave you my opinions on how to make a page more relevant. If you
choose you didn't like it then fine. I listed a site that I have ranking in
hard SERPs (I am #3 for home decor also on google.ca yes it is a Canadian
site) that I had ranking in less than a year. If you are wanting to
artificially give your site a boost in PR cause you are controlling the
"juice", well I gave an opinion on that also. I go by proof of what works.
My sites work and I make good money from them because they do good.:-)

The luser that came in guns to the hilt that started the rest of the mess
kept pointing links for articles about selling PR and links, which is not
anything I had said. If you don't like the opinions or anything please enter
the discussion again and bring out points and stuff which you hadn't. You
did ask where did I get the info about the linking out and BB told you that
is has always been like that so you did ask about the outbound linking. LOL!

Obviously no one else wants to give an opinion because of Brent the troll,
who comes around making himself known every once in a while.

Well I got more important things to do like design and SEO my clients'
sites, and work on my own.

related clients. I thought you had disappeared off the planet, of course you
probably thought the same for me.:-)

Why are you here anyway bill? Helping the OP out with his question?
Breaking the terms of service?

defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal
rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others;

post any inappropriate, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or unlawful
Content;

post any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright,
trade secret or other proprietary right of any party (the "Rights"),
unless you are the owner of the Rights or have the permission of the
owner to Post such Content;

post messages that promote disruptive commercial messages

restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Service;

And where's the relevance to what's happening of any of that?

Because obviously nobody wants YOU around if you don't have anything
productive (RELEVANT) to add to the conversation and are only
interested in harassing and verbally abusing your peers to appease
your "lover's" personal vendetta.
Stacey! "Lovers!" O Momma!

Your ad hominem attack is in "bad taste" and it's also very immature.
You were . . . you came . . . You obviously
helps you.
You really need to read
your pages. . . . you need to
you need to get that out of your head
your site
you need to learn

you really are

Didn't get the hint eh?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem

This thread is about the OP,
NOFOLLOW and "Juice Flow".

not to be confused with what jezsta needs:http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...ct+right+juice

It's obvious to ME that the OP (whom this thread is actually ABOUT) is
referencing the recent algorithm changes that have been being
discussed over the past months regarding NOFOLLOW and "Juice Flow".

jezsta's initial question "Why would you do that?" makes it pretty
obvious that she doesn't know what she's talking about. It's also
obvious that she shouldn't be trusted because she's bragging about
"reciprocal cross linking" (in a thread about INTERNAL linking) at a
time when EXTERNAL linking is under great speculation as the cause of
many sites that have dropped out of the SERPs even for their brand
names. jezsta's advice for the OP to link out to increase ranks is
absurd and dumbfounding.

I'm pretty sure the OP was talking about his OWN "seo" when HE titled
this thread. jezsta should go buy herself some dolls to take her
aggressions out on if she doesn't have anything productive to do with
her time (other than wasting ours). I know I have lots of work to do.

-------------------------------------------------

Wikipedia is an "authority site" + quality INTERNAL links + quality
INCOMING links (especially from the .edu domains) to a variety of
pages gives them awesome ranks. Wikipedia does NOT, however, link
"out" - and EVEN if they did, it would have been switched to NOFOLLOW
last month.

The way I see it: if you feel you need to "nofollow" internal links =
you probably shouldn't display those links in the first place -
because they'll distract your customers from what is important.
How about the Contact Us page or the T&C? You need the one to help
people and you need the other to be obviously apparent, same with the
Disclaimer page if you have one, for legal purposes. But you don't
want to squander link-juice on them.

It comes with a narrow mind, big mouth, and don't shut the fuck up

I prefered the 2007 version. Much sweeter.
