Default cpm. the going rate - 11-12-2003 , 02:35 PM

Hi

Could anyone suggest a reasonable charge for a CPM campaign

We have been approached by a company who would like to
Run a banner campaign on our site and before we enter into further
discussion, I wondered if any of you guys
had any experience and what is the going rate.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Mick

I've been looking into this, and I'm still looking for somewhere that gives a
good indication of average current rates. I've seen from £9 to as little as 50
pence, but it's not always easy to find out if these sites are going bust at
these rates.

Do you know your visitors well? Look at these CPM for teachers.net:

They also have good information on demographics, so those prices are for a well
targetted group of visitors, with defined interests and relatively predictable
spending power. I guess it's mainly a matter of checking what other sites on
the same topic as yours are charging.
