connecting to Penalized site

Recently one of our partners site has been penalized at google i.r he
lost his PR and Backing and rankinf offcourse.

And we are connecting to them.! Should we remove their link from our
site... Would i be getting penalized for this... ?

Yes, linking to 'penalized' 'bad' sites could get you a penalty.

Yes, linking to 'penalized' 'bad' sites could get you a penalty.

It's like feeding the trolls, so to speak.

If you see a page with PageRank 1 or 2 , how will you know that the
page is penalized or not?
