Hello,
Please excuse me for my bad English level but I'm french. I wrote a
short essay about a new people search system different from all others
I know.
For more information, just go to : http://membres.lycos.fr/ddavid86/tex...rch_system.txt
I hope it will be useful

This reminds me of the original way that classmates.com opperated,
before they went commericl -- when they were in thir initial "we're all
about fun and public service and ain't the web grand" information
gathering mode.
Having been burned by them -- spammed in email through several levels of
filters until i finally got rid of them, and then asked to pay money
when i finally wished to utilize a search engine to which i had
contributed freely -- i would be very wary of contributing to another
such vo;untary peope-search effort.
This is not to say that your idea is badly deigned or based upon bad
principles -- i love the idea -- but results of similar designs so far
have proved to be too susceptible to human greediness factors to make it
attractive to me.
Perhaps if a well-funded non-profit organization took it in hand, i
would submit my data, but after the classmates.com debacle (such a
great, heart-warming idea, such venal results in the end!) i just would
have to wait to see.
Cordially,
