Well, if the quailty of your work consists of spamming, missing DTD's,
invalid code, css embedded into the html, then count me out.

Missing DTD's don't mean bad coding. One can leave them out for a
reason. Just as i do.

Invalid code as in realy invalid, embedded css etc. is not oke, but the
most anoying thing is the spam.

Didn't say it was, but you cannot guarantee it will work okay on all
browsers.

Invalid code as in realy invalid,
Depends which page you are checking, and what you class as invalid.
I am not talking about the many missing alt attributes. I am on about
the other things like "Error: there is no attribute PLUGINSPAGE for
this element (in this HTML version)"

embedded css etc. is not oke,
Nor is it okay

Exactly.
And to charge $1,295 a month for SEO.
LOL No thanks.

Price depends on how much work has to be done, there are clients that i
would charge 2.500 or more, per month, if they weren't doing the work
that has to be done themselves now.

Yes, but what mom and pop site can afford that sort of figure ?
Those prices are more for your upmarket / huge companies that have
money to burn.

Just a friendly reminder: spam via Google is canceled on my news server
when reported :-)
