Default Charitable Google Search - 11-19-2005 , 12:31 AM

Hi @ll,

I'm working for HP and in best Christmas tradition I was going to
donate some money to charities. However, this year I decided to do
something different. Instead of giving money to charities directly, I
have set up my this year's charitable project to be - a charitable
interface to Google: www.givvle.com.

In short - all income from AdSense goes to charity.

I was then trying, more for the fun of it, to advertise it on AdWords.
First day I paid $0.10 for a key word. The next day it was $0.50 and on
day three, and ever since, they want $5 - $10 per click. Are they nuts?
What's going on there?!?

I also cannot find the site's URL on google, even though I explicitly
registered with them.

You guys obviously know your stuff - this is why I dare to ask you guys
for feedback. What's going on there? Thanks!!!

-- Robert

PS: If you like www.givvle.com, please use it, and spread the word...
;-)

I'm no expert, but i believe that under Google Adsense TOS, one is not
allowed to encourage people to use Adsense. You can advertise your
site (e.g. some new search engine), but you cannot tell people about
adsense.
