Big Bill schreef: I can't see any justification for this. I have a client on Netcetera with the canonical problem, I went into the CP to poke around, thinking I could probably fix it in there, no joy so I rang up. He's on a shared server, they say, and for that level of configuration he'll have to go on a dedicated server at £65 a month. I said What? and Huh? and What Planet Is This? and got referred to a higher-up there who confirmed it. Jeez! Given that I'm not the most technically-oriented bloke on the planet, any planet, can anyone guess at any justification for this? How do they think they can charge that much for something so basic? I think it's time to get out of Dodge...:-) Hi Bill, He doesn't have to move to a dedicated server, he has to move away from that host. |

If that is my understanding. I am running my own server here in the US and my cost between server + licence + T1 line is a lot more than that. I think it really depends on your customer needs Paolo We need the canonical problem addressed and the client's already paying £18 a month. For that, it should be fixed!
