Default For Cat. - 01-08-2006 , 09:31 AM

Cheers Cat

Hows this

Burns Hank Marvin Signature
This guitar was produced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hank
Mavins original instrument, the 1964 Burns Marvin . This electric guitar
has been authenticated by Hank Marvin himself as a true replica of Hanks
original 1964 Signature Model, it is available as a strictly limited
edition only.

Hank Marvin played this electric guitar during the Shadows 37 date
sell-out tour of the Country (UK) and commented highly on how playing
the new "Marvin” brought back memories of using the original Burns
Marvin to produce such memorable and classic tracks such as "The Rise
and Fall of Flingel Bunt". Hank Marvin Played the original Burns Marvin
on stage, record and screen from 1964 until 1970 when in 1970 his
guitars were stolen!

Hank Marvin also commented that people often forget that although many
of the great guitar and electric guitar manufactures are from the US,
Burns guitars produce a superb range of guitars and are a British
Company.

So if you want to emulate one of the greatest guitar players and
musician that we have had a privilege to hear, or you just want a
fantastically rich sounding, great looking distinctive Burns electric
guitar then this is the model for you.
Im gonna link all the electric guitar, guitar words back to my home
page. And Burns to the Burns Catagory page.

After this is the specs that and some more words with out the key words in.

James

I recommend not to do this, it makes the text extremely hard to read.
The eye jumps from link to link, and hence it doesn't read pleasantly.

Better to have either a few links in the text, or if it's written to be
read (like this) instead of scanned, put the links under it, for
example:

Burns guitars Related

......
......

As your subject, don't ping people like this, you post in a public
group, so pick a good subject, like: Advice wanted on guitar text

You're getting the idea. Now i am gonna show you where the interlinks
go. I will use the typical example.com form -- but these should be your
own links to your own internal pages.

Well, you get the idea -- i am out of time, or i would run through your
entire text. But see below for more comments.

You list TWO links you are ging to make:

1) electric guitar and guitar --back to your home page

2) Burns -- back to the Burns guitar page

But i see SEVEN link pages developing out of the above batch of text:

1) Electric Guitar hub page
(not a link to your top page but rather to an electric guitar hub page:
history, description, and site-wide product link-list to all electric
guitar products)

2) Limited Edition Guitar / Signature Edition Guitar hub page(s)
(description and definition of what a limited editon is and what a
signature model is and site-wide product link-lists to all limited
edition and signature editions -- this COULD be on two pages if you
prefer, one for limited edition, the other for signature model)

3) Greatest Guitar Players hub page
(brief personal intrduction to the thrill of great guitar player, then
names of great guitar players (perhaps by category of music) with links
to their bio pages and also a site-wide product link-list to all
electric guitar products that are associated with specific guitar players)

4) Hank Marvin hub page
(brief bio, link to greatest guitarists page, and site-wide product
link-list to all Hank Marvin products)

5) British Made Guitars hub page
(promo for the category, list of all British manufacturer names with
links to their pages, and site-wide product link-list for all British gitars)

6) Burns Guitars hub page
(brief company history and site-wide product link-list for all Burns guitars)

7) And, of course, ALL pages on the site will contain a link to your top
page, which is the Uber-hub.

Cordially,

cat yronwode

What ever happed to the word autographed? Autographed Guitar Signed by Burns
Marvin. Of course a nice heading might be 1964 Autographed Replica, 40th
Anniversary Burns Marvin Guitar for another one. Anyway, if someone is
looking for something signed I am pretty sure that most would be looking for
an autographed one. :-)

I have no idea: signed is just easier, so I guess more people use it. The
fun thing is: signed guitar and autographed guitar have a very close
number of results (quoted as well).

I might use one in the
, and the other in a

No idea if signature is a good word, I do see "Signature Guitar", but that
probably has a very different meaning.
