Could any of you help me? Our website has been up and running for over 3 months now. But we can't get searched. We have done everything that Google has told us, but nothing. This is killing our business, because people remember our name, but a lot of the time they can't remember the exact website and someone else who uses our name is #1 all the time. We have gone through every page and nothing. We have links and key words and nothing. Do any of you know how often (when) the web is crawled? Thanking you in advance |

Thanking you in advance As far as I know, google performes a "deep crawl" in intervals of about three weeks. But I am having the same problems as yours, tried everyting; submission, reinclusion, sitemaps with no luck. I am forced to think that Google itself having some problems. Yahoo and MSN were really quick in indexing my site. My site has been up for five weeks by the way. I do have a fair amount of PR4-5 links pointing to me. I just decided to wait. But it is depressing to hear that you are still not indexed in three months. Emre Sozer |

Emre Sozer They might have different problems from you, Emre, it might be significant that someone else is using their name. Which reminds me of something... tell me, are you the "real" Emre Sozer? A low PR may be understandable but I don't think Google would ban a site for that. |

As for the "real" Emre Sozer, I did not undestand what do you mean by that but yes ![]() |

Normally. But have you noticed? These times aren't normal! weird is the order of the day! Yes, I absolutely noticed. I check if google indexed my site a couple of times everyday, only to add to my frustration. I won't be able to quote exactly but I've read that Google CEO made a statement saying that they are having a big crisis of space in their servers. Strange how a huge company like Google fails to plan ahead properly. |
