Default Can someone help me with my site? - 12-08-2003 , 04:10 PM

Hi,

I have just got my site together but am confused about how to get it
up and running with the major search engines. I have registered with
them and believe that it helps your cause to have content or words on
the index page relevant to your desired search words. Is this correct?
Do search engines go over index pages and lift words from the content?
If this is so does that apply to every page or only the index page?

I have put my title and my keywords in my HTML pages. Is this all I
can do? I would really appreciate some help as I don't feel I am
getting anywhere and I don't want to pay a SEO company.

Your title is very long. I wouldn't have such a long title, because it may
be regarded as keyword stuffing and then you might get penalized.
Go for 5-10 words or so in the title.

One of the best places to go ...and it is free is www.bruceclay.com. I have
followed his mehotdology for four years and have kept all my clients at the
top of the SERP's , and even moved up substantially though this latest
Google Algo shift.

Best of luck.
