Default Businessserve PLC - 09-01-2003 , 06:59 AM

Shady business practices, I brought several domains through them years ago
back in the days when I was dumb. Unbeknown to be they reged the domains in
there own name, not mine.

I have invoices saying i have purchased the domains. Recently I got a call
asking if I'd like to buy the domains as they'd had another customer of
theirs interested in them! Disbelief, they are my domains.

I could not afford to lose the domains, so I paid the money. £200 per domain
plus VAT.

Don't touch businesserve ever.

Thats interesting. one client of ours was charged £84+vat to change the IPS
tag on one domain, away from Business serve, even though the client had the
domain reg'd in their own name. Also, I asked BS to change the nameservers,
THEN the IPSTAG to reduce downtime, but they changed the IPSTAG and notified
us later. This meant our client went without a website for a couple of days
while the changes took place. Bad show really.

Yep, but sorry, I don't drink.

Businesserve is the big green building where the Little Chef used to
be.

I had many happy meals there...
