I used a link from a PR5 page (with only 3 outgoing links) and also did a manual Google submission. I don't know which did the trick. The PR5 page was visited by the Googlebot within minutes of having the link added (by pure chance) and the page new indexed a few days later. On average I would expect it to take 1-3 months to get listed. Eric. eric (AT) satsig (DOT) net |

Actually I know of one which lets you post links on a PR4 page but it belongs to a community I respect so I can't condone spamming on there. |

It's not hard finding SEO based forums to post to which I can benefit from directly. b) will let you post a link on that good PR page No, but the new threads today (PR0) are old threads a month from now (PR1, 2, 3, 4....). Actually I know of one which lets you post links on a PR4 page but it belongs to a community I respect so I can't condone spamming on there. Why would you spam a forum, find one you know something about and post away. Or rather than just use google to find answers to questions ask on forums you don't know enough about to participate on a regular basis, but do have at least a passing interest in. My eldest son (12) is learning web design, SEO etc.... and is building a public domain ebooks site (stuff like this http://www.free-ebooks-uk.netfirms.com/sherlock-holmes/ ). I think he should use PHP/MYsql to build the site, though neither of us know much about this (he knew nothing, I knew how to spell it :-)). So an ideal oppurtunity to find a forum or two about the above and ask questions. the challenge is finding a forum thats even pr4 that will even let your signature be shown if it represents a commercial interest. I attempted today to post some questions in a arthritus forum and got banned. Maybe it was the old hag moderating the group. |

First time for everything I guess. The moderators are relentless at least as of today. Maybe tomorrow will be different.
