Yes, I saw that website, and still do not get it, what are they doing.

New phrase terminology really. Link ninjas get good links basically and link
baiters give any old links.

That's where I am lost, in all the hype, what is that that link ninjas
do exactly. For example, do they spam blogs, beg for links, referer
spam, or perhaps (likely) they do something else?

constantly on lookout for links that are not spam and from authority sites.

I think the answer is much simpler than and not as exciting as Igor
thinks: it's simply a trademark of 21st Century Link Ninjas and not a term
for any particular secret link building technique. Sounds to me like a
little certification perk they give out to those people that complete
their training program.

Do correct me if I'm wrong though. I would absolutely love to come to
realize that there is a secret link building technique I am not aware of
but I kind of doubt there is anything beyond the usual beg/buy/spam
choices. Well, OK, there is also the hardest: become the absolute
authority in the subject and you won't have to beg for links. I think
those four ways to get links cover pretty much everything under the Sun.
