Hi, folks,
I post here fairly regularly, but not too many people know much
about me or what i do -- so, in case you are interested, i just
wanted to let y'all know that interviews with my husband and me can
be found in the new book "Not in Kansas Anymore: A Curious Tale of How
Magic Is Transforming America" by Christine Wicker (HarperCollins,
2005). The author even mentions a few of our web sites (yeah,
hooray).
The book also contains interviews with and descriptions of a number
of other people in the usenet magical community (including Sam
Webster, Joseph Max555, and Dr. Christos Kioni) as well as
a large group of non-usenet mages whose roots lie in the Goth,
Hermetic, Wiccan, Witchcraft, and Satanist communities.
I have put up a web site briefly describing the book at
"Not in Kansas Anymore:
A Curious Tale of How Magic Is Transforming America"

with a link to order it from the Lucky Mojo Books page at
Lucky Mojo Occult Bookstore:
Books on the Folklore and Sociology of Magic

-- and, for those who already own a copy, or who are interested in
the book but don't want to buy it sight unseen, i am happy to
announce that my husband nagasiva is working on an INDEX to it
(there is no index in the book itself) and this is available for
free (you can print it out and put it in your copy of the book,
if you wish) at
Free Online Index to "Not in Kansas Anymore" by Christine Wicker:

So far siva has only gotten through page 184 (out of 272 pages), but
he will continue working on the index until he finishes it, and it
will be updated regularly until it is complete.
Cordially,
