Hotbot is a great site. However google and alltheweb are still the
best. We have also been making some great strides in recent months on
our Search Engine KaZaZZ!

KaZaZZ! has made quite a few recent improvements. Here are a few of them:

- Added MetaSpider Technology (that's what we call it). Web Search
includes meta search results and KaZaZZ! spidered sites from our free
submission service. We think this provides the best of both worlds.
- Limited our search results to the most relevant sites only. This improves
the ease of us for our consumers.
- Added "Ask Anything" Humanly Edited Free Research Service
- Added a Family Filter to block porn sites for kids
- Added Spell check to search results (our spell check give the user more
flexibility to select appropriate words)
- Redesigned Web and Directory Search results pages
- Redesigned Shopping Search results pages
- Setup 10% of Revenue to Charity Program
- Added KaZaZZ! Extra Strength (More tools other than just search)
- Implemented Local Search Protocol
- Redesigned Advertising Center

hmmmm....

"Search Engine Watch editor Danny Sullivan and associate editor Chris
Sherman made the final decisions about award winners. This were influenced
by reader votes, though the final decisions over winners isn't always the
same as the voting. More details about how decisions were made are described
in each category below."
