Does anyone know of good ASP or ASP.NET blog software? It should have: * clean URLs * search engine friendly (sends correct headers, etc.) * not extremely complicated to configure * customizable design/template Doesn't need to be free, but open-source is preferred. It will go in a subdirectory on an existing site on IIS. WordPress can run on IIS with clean URLs, but I'm looking for something that isn't too unconvetional or complicated. |

Why is WP unconventional/complicated? (WP would have been my first suggestion). WordPress is the ideal solution, but it would be running on IIS which doesn't have mod_rewrite. |

The URLs don't look good, but could probably be fixed with isapi rewrite. |

There is a workaround, but the author calls it "non-trivial": http://www.basilv.com/psd/blog/2006/...s-20-under-iis |

I'm not working directly on the server, but just providing recommendations to the sites' developers. I'm not sure if they would have trouble getting WordPress running on IIS with clean URLs. WordPress could be put on an Apache server on a subdomain, but in this case the blog has to go in a directory on the main domain... |

I found Presstopia, but don't know much about it: http://presstopia.com/pt/blog/ |

This is wat is used for WP as well: There is a workaround, but the author calls it "non-trivial": http://www.basilv.com/psd/blog/2006/...s-20-under-iis Yup, non-trivial as it took him a few hours to find it out. But from a quick glance, following this recipe will give a running WP 2.0.x in about 20 minutes. |

If IIS can do proxying like Apache, with some overhead you can have IIS fetch the page from the Apache server and pass it to the browser appearing to come from IIS directly. |

I found Presstopia, but don't know much about it: http://presstopia.com/pt/blog/ Nor do I, I have most experience with WP, my partner uses it, and a customer does use it on several sites. |
