Funny that you can't control your behaviour yourself but need a computer
program to decide if you read a posting or not.

As you have noted you still can read my insults because other people
quote them. Hence what's the point of using a kill file? If you are
secure enough you can just ignore my posts, or just make a funny mental
picture of me and move on.

No, you choose instead to kill file me, brag about it (like I care), and
keep bragging about it and comment on my posts indirectly. Oh, don't be
afraid, I hadn't expected otherwise from you, I read your nice jabs at
Carol. ( Whining voice: Nooo Carol, I didn't tell about your seeecreeet
sites, I just... [ more rambling ] )

You mean by removing my noise yours becomes more apparent? No insults
are only funny if little, insecure, Stacey can make them.

It's funny to watch you stumble over your own thoughts everytime. You
get so wound up most of the time you post that I can't grasp most of it.
Ah, well, maybe it's because English is my second language :-D

It can be very funny reading responses to people you've kill filed,
especially when they are talking about you. I'm deliberately cutting
most of this so Stacey doesn't get it all :-))

I've kill filed a couple of looser's on this NG, yet they still
occasionally aim posts directly as me, knowing I'm not directly
reading them! It comes across as very sad and needy.

Good news is they both seem to have all but left this NG since I
stopped reading and responding to them, so it does work when you have
troll like posting behaviour.

Actually you might be on to something with the second language since
we've argued about things we almost agree on because I think you've
misunderstood the meaning of my posts. At least that's what I'm hoping
it was, at one point I was in two minds as to whether you were
deliberately misunderstanding me so you could argue!

You mean like stating you have kill filed someone?

Then you probably never have encountered serious trolling. If you don't
like what someone writes, ignore it.

Funny... when I don't add a smiley since it's (at least to some people)
obvious I joke, people don't get it. And when I add a smiley, some
people don't get it either.

Sure Dave, whatever makes you happy. I really don't want to go into long
flameware again where I say 8, you say 2 and after a long long time you
say, yeah, John, I told you it's 8, we agree (sort of).

And when I later post that I suck at maths ( SMILE ) you say: yeah,
John, since a few days back I explained to you that it's 8 and ...

Not really, I had been not reading most of your postings for sometime. I not
only read this NG but others. I find that most of the time you like to get
into arguments with everyone that has a different view. Plus, I don't see
any exciting new info for SEO that you post. Makes it easier to read the
other better postings basically.

Thanks big brother! :-)

Yeah, it is a lot quieter when it is ignored.:-)

Well, I think they come and go.:-) As, long as they don't get an argument
then I suppose they don't want to post. :-)

Maybe that is how you see it....it could be because English is your 2nd
language that you don't understand it sometimes. I find it funny how you
claim a lot of different people stumble over their own thoughts but it
sounds clear to me. You know, it can be that you have a strong boasting
attitude and don't see the other side through your own forest. I don't mean
this to put you down or anything. Just something you should think about.
Especially, since you chose to post to someone who you know wasn't going to
read it....I mean come on....seems like you are holding a major personality
conflict from somewhere. You have it so much on other groups with other
people. It isn't just me or Dave!

Or maybe he likes to argue.:-)

Not really,
You just have proven my point. You kill file me, and next... you reply
to me via someone else's reply, because you just can't control it.. :-D.

Hurray, so? No need to state this. I mean, I don't post weekly reports
on who I read, who not, and who is in my kill file. All very childish.

If you don't want to read someone, just don't.

Ah, let me guess, you are going on and on to justify your childish
behaviour.

Are you new to Usenet? Or are you saying that I argue with *your* views,
and here and there get *good* arguments that somehow differ from your
view? And you don't like that? My goodness, how insecure you really are?

Quote:

Well, that's a bit hard, since it can only be exciting if it agrees with
your view.

Quote:

Yup, since it confuses you less.

Yup, since it's a *personal* site, I write about stuff I like on my site.

Ok, if you agree with my view (target on your customers, not on traffic)
then there is no argument
I wouldn't put it that way since I tend to concentrate on visitor
needs and target traffic (happy with related traffic as well), so I
want both.

But then there are exceptions. For example the SEO Gold site though
the content is optimized the site in general is designed with visitors
in mind first not maximum traffic since we don't need thousands of
potential SEO clients (couldn't handle that much work!).

I kept doing that with you and Bill in the validator thread.
