Jagger, Bourbon, Florida names given to the google algo in the fall are really all the same algo with minor differences and they all happen in the fall season. I think all we need is one name for these algos which I term 'The Fall Algo' and it's the right time of the year for this algo for indeed the sites do fall. |

Now what's interesting about this algo is it mainly effects commercial sites, not non profit non commercial sites. Seo Dave's Classic literature site has not fallen ever during the fall algo and neither has my Bowling Tips site ever fallen during this algo or other non-commercial sites I own. But my commercial phone sex sites always taken a major beating this time of year and then come back gradually by the end of January begining of February and come roaring back full force strong by spring (so we'll say 'The Spring Algo' is the friendly good algo of the east and the fall algo the wicked algo of the west as far as commercial for profit sites go). |

I think it's interesting that Google picks the busiest business time of the year to mess over commercial sites. It's no mistake or accident that it's happening this time of year either and is being done conciously and knowingly by them just for that reason. Why I don't know. But there is a reason behind this and would love to hear people's thoughts on why they think Google would penalize commercial sites during the fall Christmas season time of year. If they were just anti commercial sites and people's using their search engine to make money then wouldn't they have this algo going year round? Why just this time of year when it's the boom time for business's? Not that knowing this will help any of us with our sites in google but I would just like to know out of morbid curiosity. |
