Default alexa - 11-04-2003 , 05:51 AM

This seems to be a new search engine which is giving me a through goingover.
Any idea about it?

Silly me. I just visited www.alexa.com and it is an amazon.com company
providing enhanced search on top of google.

Can anybody give me more information on Alexa please. Are the visitors I am
getting from alexa.com people or bots? I had to change ISPs seven months ago
and the Open Directory hasnt done anything about updating my URLs so I am
halfhoping that this alexa.com visit may get me updated. My hits are only
half what they used to be. There have only been 7-8 visits and they havent
looked at very many of my 300+ files. So I am not optimistic.

Have you considered registering your own domain name?

Too late now. I should have done it before my massive editing eight months
ago. But I was a bit ignorant and thought it would not be possible and too
expensive. Also most of my hits come in sideways from Search Engines so the
top doesnt matter very much.
