Isn't it true that it has become more expensive to use AdWords? I started an ad campain for the word 'blogs' and the minimum cost per click is now 0.8 Euro. That's about 1 dollar per click I think. When I used AdWords in the past the cost per click seemed much lower even though I haven't targeted the word 'blogs' before. The word combination 'search blogs' has a minimum CPC of 0.4 Euro, but that's still very expensive I think. I targeted these words because my site now has a (very cool feedssearch: http://www.mixlet.com al. |

Why anyone would want to bid on such a generic keyword as "blogs" is beyond me, but apparently enough are doing so that it is driving the price up. 10 million blogs out there, why would they click on your ad? And how many will click on it (costing you money) that have no interest in what YOUR blog has to say? |
