Do as David says. Make a separate page (a static, not session ID
tagged page) for each of the many topics listed above as possible
and make sure that in the aggregated 5 - 6 pages you select, all the
OTHER keyword phrases occur as written.

I will do im going to use wordtracker to get lots of phrases and build
static pages around them to my site.

As i have said, you'll want a number of paragraphs and several illos
per page. The illos should have alt tags that are embedded in links
that link to other pages.

illos'? .. photo's or hyper-links you meen?o added pr both
illos = illustrations = pictures. But in order for the picture's alt
tag to count with google, the illustration must itself be a link to
.... somewhere or something.

Illos can be links to bigger versions of themselves, or to catalogue
pages, or to a gallery page of a similar class of illos, or to a
text page -- anything. Google only counts the words in the alt tag
if (1) the words are parsed by spaces or hyphens (not
runtogetherwords) and (2) if the illos containing the alt tags are
clickable links.

Example:

<center>
<a href=http://www.luckymojo.com/hoodoo.html>
<img align="bottom" width="500" height="51" hspace="0"
alt=hoodoo-in-theory-and-practice-by-catherine-yronwode
src="http://www.luckymojo.com/blackcatbar.gif">
</a>

Make every portion of the content support every other portion.

Static pages do you more good than dynamic pages. HEED THESE WORDS.

Many people will tell you that static pages are "old fashioned" but
face it -- GOOGLE IS OLD-FASHIONED -- it cannot afford the
near-infinite resources it would take to index every possible
dynamic page from every site that has dynamic pages. 'Twould pose a
serious memory / bandwidth problem.

So you have two choices: make static pages or use some coding tricks
to lose the session ID tags that alert google to the fact that you
are using dynamic pages.

Noted and they should be removed I think. I think G hasnt caught up yet.

Most people here recommend the latter, but note that if or when
EVERYBODY learns to lose the session ID tags, google will still have
to come up with some way to avoid having its spiders get lost in a
maze of dynamic pages, so there will come a time when a google will
be forced to develop the ability to distinguish dynamic pages based
on some other quality -- or will have to choke trying -- or will
have to multiply its database by x-billion in order to index every
possible dynamic page on earth.

I can believe all that. I am building static pages for the web site,
It's very old fashioned
So is common sense yet it survives. There is much to be said for the
concept of Keep It Simple, Stupid (KISS) - most particularly, it
works.

I think you are wrong.

Stacey found out that alt tags are indexed. I have confirmed
it no long ago - and the picture with the word that was added to Google
index was just picture, not a link.

See my post 'alt="" indexed' from the last Wendesday.

That's roughly 1 visitor a day per SERP, so ~3,000 visitors that month
for those SERPs. That site had 159,198 SERPs in October.

Total visitors 523,189 for October.

Highest traffic SERP brought 1750 visitors in October, so ~56 visitors
a day.

Also works out that each SERP (159,198 of them) on average gave 3
visitors a month :-))

The traffic is also highly targeted to the pages the visitors go to as
well.

CRE Loaded is the way to go first off, next time im usings that. And
then some of the contributions are already installed. Saves a bit (
alot) of work.
I've run a test site, but decided to put my time into affiliate sites
rather than selling an actual product so never went further. Looked
like it could be optimised quite well though, plenty of variables to
work with which makes it easier to optimise a script like that.

The bog standard Oscommerce shop is not very good for the search
engines, the title of every page is Oscommerce and the URLs use
session IDs, so out the box it's worse than a lot of commercial
products (mot much worse as most are just as bad!).

However, there are modules that fix a lot of the problems, I've seen
the results of the modules and they aren't bad. They are far from
perfect, but as a starting point you can do far worse.

I had a look through the contributions at Oscommerce and couldn't find
any called CRE Loaded, do you have a link?

Might be interesting to optimise Oscommerce fully and sell copies.
