Default £5 per Google adword!! - 12-01-2006 , 03:50 PM

TO GOOGLE

"crime figures" Inactive for search
Increase quality or bid £5.00 to activate

What is going on here?

How on earth are most of our keywords reaching this level of payment per click? £5 per keyword? What is this madness?

We cannot afford this level - please close our account immediately and confirm that the account has been closed.

These are not prices being set by advertisers, but by Google.

£5 per keyword is surely in itself a "crime figure".

It states exactly what is going on. Google wants you to increase the
quality of your pages.

This is not a board run by Google, if you want to close your account
contact them.

Not yet :-) We probably will buy the tree next week. Where I live it gets
quite cold (relatively speaking) in December and January. Next week the
temperature can drop as low as 5C :-) Less confusing then living below the
equator.

The disadvantage of having rarely those temperatures is that most houses
(of not all) are ill prepared if it stays a while low. Last year I heard
that quite some people died because they burned wood/charcoal in their
house without proper ventilation because it was too cold.

Lowest temperature here inside was around 12C, and after switching the
computer on it slowly went up to 13-14C :-D.

This year I decided to close the top part of the main window. This top
part has rectangular pieces of glass, and it looks like (side view):

Sadly it doesn't close properly (if it ever did, and hence if the wind is
on that side of the house it's really cold in the house (windows have very
thin glass as well). I put plastic with air bubbles in front of it, and it
made a huge difference.
