Xhtml Display issues in Design View in DWmx

Basic html web designer trying to work in xhtml using Dreamweaver MX. I like
using both code and design view to make changes and additions and using
Safari/Netscape to view. In my design view of Dreamweaver MX my pages look
scrambled. It makes it difficult from a Graphic Designers perspective to make
changes. Looking for assistance to correct problem. thx.

Which DMX? 6.0 or 6.1?

Unfortunately, DMX was not the brightest bulb on the string when it comes to
CSS layouts. Would it be possible for you to upgrade?

Anyhow, it's not possible to answer what could be your problem without

No Link available. I just took over this clients website and when I brought it in to make design changes the site looked jumbled and not what it appeared in viewing online using Safari or Netscape.

You would still need to post a link to the page for anyone to help you.

Any chance you could upgrade your DW?
