Default Win SP2 and F12 - 11-29-2004 , 06:53 AM

for security reasons Win sp2 now asks you if you want to save the file every
time you f12.. which is quite annoying.. anyone know any way round it.. The sp2
firewall in control panel seems to be quite limited.. since dreamweaver is
listed in the exceptions but it still brings up the message and there dosent
appear to be a whole lot of other options ofther that port and ip access.

This is because you have elected NOT to use temp files to preview - it has
nothing to do with SP2. Check your preferences under Preview in Browser,
and check the option to enable that feature.

As far as I know, it's been a preference option since v4 at least.
