Default Why do behaviors stop working after cut and paste? - 07-18-2003 , 01:19 PM

I have copied a table that has behaviors such as "onMouseOut" "onClick" etc. associated with some of the images. Then I paste the entire table into the cell of another table. Then all the behaviors stop working.

Sometimes I have noticed that they will star working again if I simply double-click on each behavior in the behavior pallet and don't do anything else other than just click "Cancel" on the window that opens.

This doesn't always work, though.

Can someone please explain what's happening here? It's been driving me nuts for a long time!
Thanks!
Paul

Without seeing the code of the examples, a general reason is that some
code for the behavior is also located in e.g. the head section of the
page. Therefore, when copying the element that seems to hold the code,
you only get a part of it.
