Default Where is the Site Definitions file stored on a Mac (k) - 05-19-2008 , 09:04 AM

I know that all the site definitions are stored in text files somewhere
on my Mac. What is the name of that file so that I can find it?

Hi Kirk,

I lost my site definitions today and need to know where the site prefs are
stored. I hope to use Time Machine to restore them but "Site Prefs" is not a
path. I've looked in my home Library/Application Support/Adobe folder, my home
Library/Preferences folder but finding nothing. I tried a Spotlight search in
Leopard but no luck. Can anyone help?

I don't have a definitive answer, but, as I recall, mine were copied by
default to my Sites folder.

First, here's the path to my Sites folder:

Hard Drive > User > Sites

All of my websites are stored inside the Sites folder. For example, Hard
Drive > User > Sites > GW

If I remember correctly, my site definition for GW was stored at...

Hard Drive > User > Sites > GW.ste

I decided it would be more convenient to have my site definitions
grouped together, so I created a new folder and moved all of my
definitions into it.
