Default what's the difference? - 07-16-2003 , 03:29 PM

Greetings -

I'm looking to buy a good beginners book on DMX/php/mysql and I see this one
mentioned all over the place, but I also hear complaints about errors in the
book: Dreamweaver MX: PHP web development

So I found it at Amazon, but in 2 versions, both July 2002, but released by
different publishers.

Wrox:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764543873/qid=1058374672/sr=1-4/ref=sr_1_4/002-1547209-8632020?v=glance&s=books

Glasshaus:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1904151116/ref%3Dpd%5Fsim%5Fbooks/104-80633/002-1547209-8632020

+++ Is one more recent than the other, and thus error free???

thanks
warren

All I can say is that Wrox makes decent books, but tends to have a chunk of
typos in the book (along with bad typography overall).

Wrox & Glasshaus were two sections of the same publishing house so the book
will be the same.

Oh. So now is the time to buy, before the copies run out (assuming another
publisher doesn't take ownership)
