As I said in the other post, I don't have a Mac so I can't be much help.
The CSS and the HTML are, of course, perfectly valid. You probably already
have them, but here are a few good IE5 Mac bug links that I have
accumulated. I would suspect that it is buggy behavior relating either to
position-relative or to the floats, both of which are problem areas for
this browser.

Sorry I can't be more help. I wish I could spot it for you. The usual
suspects on the PC side (IE6, Gecko, and Opera) are fine with the page.

trx:

Yes - thanks even for that. It also looks perfect in Safari, but IEMac is
bad. I'll check the hacks.

In the meantime, I tried a 'dismembering' of the page. With no floats, and
with ONLY the menu bar, even the buttons are misplaced. <sigh>

I explained me badly. Got the CSS and looks fine but can't associate it correctly to html file (as I usually do). The result on DW is a big mess. Can I dowload your file directly with DW?

Just make a nice table construction, and it'll work like charm crossbrowser.

I not sure I'm up for tables yet. I'm still trying to get my CSS skills
down before tackling them! 8)

Do you know of any good CSS forums where I could get some help with this?
