wanp/sql/data connection

can anyone help.

i have installed the wamp5 program for setting up a test server. i have 2
problems,

1. when i click on phpMyAdmin i get the message, access denied for user
'root@localhost' (using password NO)
2. In dreamweaver i cannot create a connect to a small database i have set up.
when clicking on the select database button, i get the message Access denied
for user 'Malcster2@'localhost'(using password YES), It's a MySQL error:1045

can anyone help?
