Default Vista Support Question - 03-28-2009 , 10:25 PM

Hi!

Does DW CS4 support Vista 64-bit. Reason I ask is that it only says certified
for Vista in DW system requirements and when I was also looking at PhotoShop
system requirements, it stated certified for Vista 32-bit AND 64-bit. I would
imagine DW CS4 also supports 64-bit but want to be sure before purchase.

Thanx!

Rick

I can't comment on what is "official" but I've had DW running on a 64-bit
Vista Ultimate machine with no problems. Of course, you could download the
30 day trial and find out for yourself on your particular machine.

Runs fine here on Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. Performance is no
better than on 32-bit. Only Photoshop CS4 can profit from 64-bit
provided you have 8 GB Ram installed.

Thank You Alan & Adriana! Appreciate the response.

I have DW CS2 & PS CS2 already. But I've only used XPpro cuz Vista breaks a
bunch of other software I need. So I just ordered my "first" Vista PC. Went to
64-bit version because of RAM limitations w/XP. Forgot about possible software
conflicts w/ 64-bit. Well ... can't change my order now! LOL

Thanx again!
