I think off a thumb drive... i hope so.... but it's really vicious. It
croaked my winXP and i finally had to reformat and reinstall the OS. (Just
about managed to back up my .wab and a couple of other things.) Fortunately,
i keep 99% of my data separate from the C: (OS and program installation)
drive Then ran a couple of virus checks. Including a special one to
eliminate Virut. But it was everywhere... all the other drives... Infected a
lot of dlls, virtually every .exe file... a lot of htm/html files... even
one particular (several versions of) .php file.

Actually found it by accident! Was trying to install a firewall(!) and it
asked me about two files... looked a bit strange... did a search and found i
had something called reader_s.exe... that translated into Virut.... anyway,
fingers crossed now...

hey guys, you can replace the code from the default templates if need
be:
(i'm using CS4 with XP, so directory may vary)
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration
\DocumentTypes\NewDocuments
and look for the type of file to replace, my issue was PHP, so I
opened it in dreamweaver and removed the code, saved. Now all new
untitled temps are back to normal.

Hope this helps, I had the same issue, removed the virus, cleaned
everything out, even reinstalled XP with recovery and used like 6
different anti virus/maleware programs. But it missed the default PHP
doc.

Stephen
