very strange IE problem

it's strange i just don't understand what's going on at work and its quite important that i do fix it to work properly at work.

It sounds like you have a proxy server that has a cached image of your
website. Each user needs to do a CTRL-F5 to force a refresh, but even
that may not work, so you may need to talk to your network admin people
about it.
