Very simple question about tables

Ok here's what I'm wondering:

I have a table with a flash navigation movie in one cell and an image in the
other cell. Is it possible to get rid of the little space of background
that separates these cells? It's driving me crazy because my flash
navigation and image both have the same gradient for the background, so if I
made the table's background some color, it wouldn't match the gradient.

If there's a way, please share,
