Default Restoring site preferences: DW 8/Mac - 07-09-2007 , 07:43 AM

After a hard drive crash, I'm restoring files to my Mac from a mirror drive.
I've reinstalled Dreamweaver fresh from the CDs, however. Where do I find my
list of sites?

I've copied over what look like all the Dreamweaver Preferences files from the
Library, but none of them seem to contain the list of sites.

Thanks.

If you mean the site definitions, I'm afraid that you've probably lost them
if you didn't have a backup of them. This would have entailed an 'export'
of each of the site definitions.

I do have a backup of everything on my external mirror drive. But where can I
find those site definitions?? When I try running DW8 off the backup drive, it
no longer recognizes my site definitions, so I can't export. Isn't there a file
that I can copy over?

I have the same problem. And I can't belive that adobe wrote you lost them, if
we have a full backup, the files must be some where their. I searched
everything from the application support to the preferences there are no file
which helps us. PLEASE gives us just the information where we can find the
site-preferences, it can't be so difficult.

THANKS

We have full backups and an Adobe Community Expert cannot tell us the path to
find these site preferences. I recall asking this question before and the
expert didn't give the correct path but I did find them and posted the correct
path. Problem is this forum will not show me my previous posts so I cannot look
that information up.

Anyone want to help? PS: I'm on a Mac. Thanks.

If you are restoring a previous disk image, you should just restore it all. If you restore the disk to its previous state then all the data will be where it was and the site definitions should work.
