Using Search and Replace to find file types

Hey, hope someone knows how to do this, probably simple but I cannot figure it
out! How can I use the Search and Replace box to find all .php files in a
folder and make a code change in ONLY those .php files? Thanks!!

The wee drop down option that says "search only in this/selected folder" ?

Hmmm, That just selects a folder, right? I need it to find only .php files within one folder.

I need to know a similar answer. What file types are included in the results
of "find and replace". I get results like.... 87 of 977 files. What
comprised the 977 files and how do I limit those file types.
