Using Hotspot for swap image behaviour

If I make a hotspot on an image and while it is selected, add a ?swap image?
behaviour, I can use the hotspot as the ?trigger? which makes the images swap.

What I would love to be able to do is rather than just use the swap image
behaviour to change whole images, have a 2nd hotspot define an area on the
image to be ?swapped?, so that a smaller image could appear in the 2nd hotspot
without covering the whole original image. Is this possible?

No. At least not the way I think you are describing it.

If you want a 2nd image with a different hotspot to appear, you will have to
have that image with its hotspot already on the page in a hidden container,
and make the first hotspot just reveal that container.

No. At least not the way I think you are describing it.

If you want a 2nd image with a different hotspot to appear, you will have to

I?m working on a site where there is ?menu? style bar which when you hover
over with the cursor, needs to make a large image swap in the body of the page.
This would be simple enough, but the area that changes is made up of a number
of smaller images that need to work as rollover images individually.

I could do all of this manually with normal swap image behaviours, so that
each of the small images behave as roll-over buttons individually. And also so
that they all change at the same time when you hover over the menu style bar.

This is obviously quite a slow way of working and I will need to go through it
every time a change is made. Is there a better way?
