Default Table height changes in preview - 01-14-2008 , 04:31 PM

Hello. This is my first time posting here. I'm not comfortable with html code
yet, but I am learning. Here's my problem:
I have a table I am using as my horizontal banner across the top of my index
page. I have a long image that I want to be flush with the top and left of the
browser window with text to the right of it in the same 140 pixels of height in
the table. Now, I've already gone through and set any cell padding and borders
to 0, and it looks fine in the standard view in Dreamweaver. But when I look
at it in preview, the image and text have a thin border around it in the
background color I had set for the table. I've tried removing the image and
text to see if they were messing with the set height of the table, but it still
remained "enlarged". I have looked at the code and all of the cell padding is
set to 0 and the row height is 140, like I set it. Does anyone have an idea of
what I am doing wrong or what I haven't done?

Thank you much,
Jason

The best way to get this answered would be to upload the page somewhere and
post a link to it, or paste the code into your post. Can you do that?

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain all of that! Wow, I guess I'm a little in over my head right now. To the tutorials!
