Upper left icons problem

I use the Dreamweaver 4 (demo version).
In the upper left side of the toolbar, there are 3 icons:
Show Code View
Show Code and Design View
Show Design View
I get in the Dreamweaver while the 'Show Design View' icon is selected.
I write some sentences in the worksheet. In order to see the HTML, I
select the 'Show Code View' icon and I see the HTML. Everything is OK.
Now, if I select the 'Show Design View' icon again, I can not select
the 'Show Code View' icon nor the 'Show Code and Design View' icon.
It means that I am stuck with the 'Show Design View' icon.
Any help will be appreciated.

I get this from time to time on my Mac and clicking the button for the
view that I'm already on cures it.
