Change navbar button behavior?

Hi,

I'm a newcomer to this forum, so if this is in the wrong place, etc. I will
appreciate advice on where to post the question, get an answer, etc.

I'm making a nav bar with many buttons (e.g., 40) using Dreamweaver (V6) . Is
there a way to keep the "down" image visible after clicking and after mouseout,
easier than actually changing each line of the Javascript?

If I do have to change the Javascript, can I just substitute the "down" image
src?
