Default uploading my site - 11-02-2004 , 06:05 PM

I just downloaded the trial version of dreamweaver MX. i didnt have a problem
with setting up my FTP info. it even tells me thats its connected to my site or
something like that. i just cant figure out how to actually upload my pages
that ive made. i cant seem to find the little "blue arrow" that lets me upload
everything.

any suggestions on another way to upload my site?

On my Mac I push F8 and my files appear, on the right the local files and on the left the remote files (server). Find your folder where the should belong (htdocs) and drag your local files over.

There's two ways you can upload your pages.

1.Go to Window > Files, or hit F8 to open Files panel
2.In the Files Panel, Select the Local View from the drop down menu at the top
of the panel.
3.Select the pages you want to upload and do one of the following:
--> windows: right click, mac: Control+ click, then select either "Put" or
"Check In" (check in is only available if you have check in/check out enabled
in site definition
--> Click the Blue Arrow at the top of the Files Panel

-- or --

1.Open the page you want to upload in Dreamweaver
2.Save Page if not already saved
3. Go to Site > Put, or Site > Check In (if you have check in/check out
enabled in site definition)

When you want to edit a page, follow these instructions only select "Get" or
"Check Out".
