Updating Templates when using Fireworks

This is not working for me. I've downloaded a template I like made a new
site with the folder, but can't figure how how to update the fireworks
images in the template on the htm pages that came with the template.

I'm using DW 2004 and FW 2004 and wondering about all this talk of "seamless
integration." I get the fireworks button in the property inspector, alright,
but I would have thought that after I make changes to the Fireworks image
and save it, it would my changes would automatically been seen in the
template and htm documents since they're all in the same local folder.

I am not really understanding what you are asking.

Which template? Is it just a page of sliced images, or is it PNG files, or
is it a Dreamweaver Template?
