Updating pages

How can I turn off the error reports, such as "unbalanced body tag", when I am
updating my template for mmy site?

I have a lot of files on a server which I have inherited and I am a bit fed up
having to press OK dozens of times. I cannot simply delete those files as they
are still functional. This error comes from the use of SSIs.
