Default unwanted space - 07-07-2003 , 07:04 PM

http://www.amera.org/

Argh. Been trying to patch up a website that I created using tables. I
don't know enough about positioning with CSS to redo the site yet. If I'm
going to redo it, I want it to be right this time.

So....I'm trying to add transparent gifs to the empty cells to make the
pages appear in Netscape 6.0. I add the gifs and then look at it in IE and
see a big red X for the gif I just added. Then I go back and specify the
height and width of the gif which solves the red X in IE but then a space
appears between the main page and the footer in Netscape. Argh. Can
someone please help me get this working so that I can concentrate on
learning CSS positioning instead of screwing around patching it up???

Please???

Thanks,
mickey

Just checked out your site... Do you still have any issues with the spacing?
