For some reason Dreamweaver 8 is unable to upload files to my server. I can download files all day, but when I try to upload nothing happens. It asks if I want to put dependent files and, regardless of what I say, after one second it displays "File activity complete" in the Files panel. How can I upload files to my web server? |

Is it possible that you are uploading to the TESTING server rather than to the remote site? I have done this from time to time.... |

I set my Testing Server options to None and then tried to upload a file. DW gives me this message: "Before using this feature, you must define a remote server. Would you like to define one now?" I click Yes and it takes me to my Remote Info which is all correct. I click Test and it connects successfully. I click OK and try to upload again and get the same message from DW. What should I try now? |

Remove all of that, please. If you are not using dynamic pages, you do not need a testing server at all. |
