Unable to Open My Root Folder in Files View

Even though I was working with these files just fine yesterday, I am now unable
to pull up my chosen root folder in the files panel. Apparently it's not
defined as a site. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks ahead of time
for any help y'all might have to offer!

Did you move or rename the folder since you defined the site in Dreamweaver?
If so, you can edit the Sites definitions, or create a new site and point to
that folder.

SITE | New Site > Follow the bouncing ball (so to speak)....

Just point the Local Root folder to the correct spot on your drive.

Oh! I'm smarter than I thought. I already have a site pointing to that folder. Now all I have to do is finish my pages, clean out the bunged-up ones, and re-upload my site.
