Default Turn off menu icon descriptions - 07-09-2004 , 04:16 PM

Hi,

A while ago, I turned on the option to display text next to the menu
icons at the top (since I wanted to learn visually what each of them
were). The thing is, now I forgot how I did it, and I can't get rid of
the text. Could someone remind me how to turn this off?

Thanks,
Aaron

do you mean on the Insert Bar or Object bar ?

If it's MX and older, menu-->Edit-->Preferences
General tab, near bottom is a pulldown to set the
Insert Bar to display: text only|Icons|Icons and Text

text only is faster for some folks, and takes less room.

this choice is gone in MX 2004.

if i've guessed wrong- more info please??
