trying to create a recordset

hi, im trying to make a recordset and having problems. im using coldfusion and
can load cfm pages ok. but,,,

on the bindings tab, when i pressed it, it displayed this:



"To use dynamic data on this page:



1 Create a site for this file

2 Choose a document type

3 Set up the site's testing server

4 Specify the RDS login for your coldfusion server

5 Create a Coldfusion data source.

Press the + button and choose recordset"



when i try to do those things i get error messages like this.



when i do 4 i get "server name or address could not be resolved'

when i do 5, i get "The Coldfusion Administrator URL test failed".



that list above and the errors wont go away and it wont let me press the +
button to create a recordset.

i guess this might be too confusing but if you understand it and see a problem
i can fix please let me know if you can. id be very very grateful because im
stuck on the book now early on.
